Gasket joint meets exacting tightness requirements, simplifies assembly. Locked-in rubber sealing gasket provides tight, flexible seal. Meets requirements of ASTM D-3212, "Joints for Drain and Sewer Pipes Using Flexible Elastomeric Seals." The bell is an integral part of the pipe section having the same strength. Spigot pipe ends are supplied from factory with bevels.
