Sioux Chief PowerPEX tubing shall be used in hot and cold potable water distribution or for approved non-potable system applications. PowerPEX Type-B tube is available in 1/8" - 2" sizes, in red, white and blue colors, as sticks and coils. PowerPEX Type-A tube is available in 1/2" - 2" sizes, as sticks and coils. PowerPEX tube is SDR-9, made to ASTM F876 and ASTM F877 standards for use with ASTM approved connection systems.
  • Compatible with ASTM F1807/F2159/F1960/F3347 and ASSE 1061 fitting systems
  • Ideally suited for radiant heating/cooling and snow-melt systems
  • Sioux Chief strongly recommends all F1960 expansion joints with PowerPEX Type-B tubing be made with a self-rotating, power expansion tool
