- Description
- Long service life due to corrosion-resistant hot water tank and heat exchanger coil construction of high-alloy stainless steel
- Two thermometers to show the domestic hot water temperature at the top of the tank and at midpoint
- Certified to CSA Low Lead Content Certification Program, including US Safe Drinking Water Act, NSF/ANSI 372 as well as other applicable US State requirements
- No sacrificial anode required for additional corrosion protection, therefore no anode replacement costs
- Tank coil extends to the bottom of tank, guaranteeing even water temperatures at all times
- Reliable hot water comfort due to fast, even heating with large-diameter 1 3/8" (35 mm) non-finned heat exchanger coil
Solar thermal sytems are ideal for integration with our Vitocell 300-B series indirect-fired DHW tanks. These dual-coil tanks allow both the solar collectors and a heating boiler to produce your home's domestic hot water. Solar heat is transferred to the tank using the lower coil, while backup heat is supplied by the heating boiler, as required, via the upper coil. By using solar energy to help generate your hot water, you can lower your heating bill significantly without compromising your DHW supply. Vitocell 300-B dual-coil hot water tanks are made of high-alloy stainless steel to satisfy the highest expectations with respect to hygiene, recovery rates and service life expectancy. The large heat exchanger surfaces of the tank coils ensure an abundant supply of hot water and even water temperatures all day long. For the Vitocell 300-B, both the tank and heat exchanger coils are made of high-grade stainless steel, a material known for its durability, hygiene, corrosion-resistance and long service life. And with a limited lifetime warranty in residential applications, you can be sure your investment will deliver long-lasting value, year after year.
